Donating your used cellphone is so easy!

All you have to do is mail or drop off your used cell phone to Safe Haven. *Or, please email us if you are interested in setting up a cell phone collection basket at your place of employment or worship.*

There are over 30 million unused cell phones in drawers and closets nationwide. The number is expected to reach over 130 million by 2005! If you have an unused cell phone or know someone who does, we have the perfect way for you to dispose of it AND support victims of domestic abuse at the same time.

We are partnering with Shelter Alliance, sponsored through the Global Refurbishment Corporation for an easy, innovative way to fund raise. Here's how it works: You donate your cell phone to Safe Haven Ministries, we send the phones to Shelter Alliance, and they send us a check in the mail.

If you choose to mail your cell phone, please be sure that you pack it in a sturdy, undamaged corrugated box, and wrap each phone and accessory individually. Wireless cellular or PCS phones only, please. Cordless phones meant for home use, bag phones, two-way radios, and walkie-talkies are not accepted. Smaller, newer phones generate the most funds.  How do I obtain a tax receipt?  Call Safe Haven at (616) 452-6664 and we will mail you a tax receipt.
