April 27, 2011: Safe Haven Ministries receives an ENCORE grant from the Grand Rapids Community Foundation to help empower local employers to appropriately address domestic abuse in the workplace. The funding will help Safe Haven engage 50+ experienced adults in a volunteer position that will provide direction for this initiative. Jan 27, 2011: On September 15, 2010, Safe Haven was one of 1,746 domestic violence agencies that participated in a national 24 hour census. The results came out today - see them here.

Safe Haven Ministries receives part of $3 million nationwide grant from The Mary Kay Foundation to combat Domestic Violence in Grand Rapids

October 14, 2010-Safe Haven Ministries has been chosen to receive a $20,000 grant from The Mary Kay Foundation as part of the organization's annual $3 million national domestic violence grant program. Safe Haven Ministries is one of the 150 domestic violence organizations participating in the program. The grant will be used to fund services for women and children who stay at Ramoth House, Safe Haven Ministries' emergency shelter. Click here to learn more.
