Can Safe Haven Ministries Be Helpful to You and to Your Church?
Safe Haven has designed a curriculum to educate congregations and other organizations about domestic violence. We are willing to accommodate our presentation to fit your congregation's time or audience needs.
Our presentation could include the following:

Raising Awareness,
Informing:
Goal 1: SHM staff
will inform a diverse and growing number of churches about
domestic abuse and SHM.
Goal 2: SHM staff
will inform a diverse and growing number of appropriate community
groups about domestic abuse and SHM.
Goal 3: Safe Haven
will inform and raise awareness about domestic abuse and SHM
in the public through coverage in various media outlets (TV,
radio, press, website, billboards, posters, SHM newsletters).

Supporting/Collaborating
with:
Goal 4: Church and
community contacts will experience a staff prepared to address
domestic abuse.
Goal 5: In partnership,
Safe Haven Ministries will develop and nurture relationships
of time, energy, and resources with a growing number of church
and community contacts.

Educating on Domestic
Abuse, Healthy Relationships, and Abuse Prevention:
Goal 6: Raise Hope
presentation/Domestic Violence Orientation (DVO) participants
will gain an increased understanding of domestic abuse and
available resources.
Goal 7: SHM will
offer church youth groups a curriculum on healthy relationships,
dating violence, and abuse prevention (for girls and boys).
