River Bank Run

SOMETIMES the most COURAGEOUS thing a WOMAN CAN DO IS RUN.

Every year, thousands of women flee their homes for their safety and that of their children. And since 45% of domestic violence homicides occur when a woman attempts to leave an abusive partner, running really may be the most courageous decision a woman will make for the sake of her family.

On MAY 14, 2011, you can run (or walk) the Fifth Third River Bank Run to help support abused women and children who are forced to run.

Safe Haven Ministries, an official chairty partner for the race, is looking for runners and walkers who are willing to raise awareness and funds for our services to abused women and their children.

Join us. It's easy to sign up and start fundraising. Together, we can help women and children on their journeys from victim to survivor.
